Five tips to help you reach your fundraising goal!
Setup your Race Roster fundraising page and be sure to include:
- Why you have chosen to fundraise for Canuck Place Children’s Hospice
- A fundraising goal. By raising a minimum of $400 as a charity runner, you’ll receive a refund for 20% of your registration fee.
- A photo of yourself
The best way to start fundraising is simple—ask those closest to you! Ask family and friends to support your fundraising efforts by sharing the link to your fundraising page.
Share why you’ve chosen to fundraise for Canuck Place on social media! Storytelling inspires others to give. Be sure your Race Roster fundraising page has been completed!

About Canuck Place
Canuck Place Children’s Hospice is BC and the Yukon’s pediatric palliative care provider. Over 920 children living with life-threatening illnesses and families from five provincial health regions receive Canuck Place inpatient and community-based care (in home/in hospital). Canuck Place operates 10 patient beds and 8 family suites through two hospices in Vancouver and Abbotsford. Services include in-hospice medical respite and family support, pain and symptom management, a provincial 24-Hour Clinical Care Line, music and recreation therapy, education and art, grief, loss, and bereavement counselling, as well as end-of-life care. With donors, research initiatives, our talented team, patient family partners, and over 330 volunteers, we care for children with short lives and the families who love them.
